Why this course exists
You’ve been told a hundred times you need to use AI. Nobody’s actually shown you how.
Most AI courses are built for enterprises, coders, or people with time you don’t have. This one is built for a small business owner who wants to run a better business by Tuesday.
Personal Context Portfolio
Ten short markdown files that describe your business, your role, your team, your priorities, and how you like to work. Upload them once and any AI you use actually understands who it’s helping. Stop re-explaining yourself.
AI skill
A reusable set of instructions and rules that teaches AI how to do one specific, multi-step task in your business the same way, every time. You’ll write your first one before you finish the course.
Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- 01
Use ChatGPT and Claude safely without exposing client data
- 02
Give AI clear instructions that produce useful output the first time
- 03
Build a Personal Context Portfolio any AI can understand
- 04
Set up a dedicated AI workspace loaded with your business context
- 05
Write your first reusable AI skill for a task you do every week
- 06

Pass the final assessment at 80% and you also earn a Ford & Mitchell Certificate of Completion.

Who this is for
If you run a small business, this is for you.
Three kinds of owners get the most out of this course. If you see yourself in any of them, you’re in the right place.
Bookkeepers, realtors, therapists, agents, freelancers.
The solo operator
Just you and the work. This course is for you if you want AI to give you back real time and help you look bigger than one person, without pretending to be.
Cleaning companies, contractors, mobile services, small brokerages.
The small-team owner
You and two to ten people. This course is for you if AI could stop you being the bottleneck for everything from onboarding a new client to writing the same follow-up for the tenth time.
CPAs, law offices, insurance agents, wellness practices.
The professional service provider
Your client relationships are your business. This course is for you if you want AI to make you look more responsive and organized, without pretending to be a bigger firm.
Honest check
This is not for you if:
Saving you $79 and a refund request. If any of these describe you, this course is not the right fit.
You want AI to run your business for you
AI is not autonomous, and pretending it is will bite you. Every prompt in this course keeps the owner in the loop and responsible.
You want a technical course on coding or agents
This is a beginner course on using AI as a business tool. If you want Claude Code, Python agents, or engineering-level detail, this is not the course.
You want a certification you can put on LinkedIn
You get a Ford & Mitchell Certificate of Completion. It is a real record. It is not a professional license, a Stanford executive credential, or a status game.
You need someone else to do the work
The portfolio, the prompts, and the skill you write are yours. If you want us to do it for you, look at the AI Systems Audit instead.
Format
Built for owners who are already stretched.
No cohorts, no live sessions, no homework you have to submit. Watch a short video, follow the checklist, do the work in your own AI tool, and move on. Come back tomorrow, or next week.
Micro-videos
Most under three minutes. One idea at a time.
Interactive checklists
Beside every lesson. Save your place automatically.
Desktop-first, mobile-friendly
Build on a laptop. Watch and review from your phone.

Frequently asked
Answers for the way owners actually shop for a course.
- Do I need to know anything about AI before I start?
- Only that it exists and you have used it a little, probably for writing emails. This course starts at the beginning and builds from there.
- Do I need to pay for ChatGPT or Claude?
- Paid ChatGPT or Claude is recommended, but only one. You do not need to pay for both. Free accounts may work with some limits.
- How long does it take?
- About 60 to 75 minutes of video. Plan for 3 to 5 hours total when you include the hands-on portfolio interview, adapting the prompts to your business, and writing your first AI skill.
- What is stored on your servers?
- Only your course progress. Your Personal Context Portfolio, your prompts, and the AI skill you write all live on your own computer and in your own ChatGPT or Claude account.
- Is there live support?
- No. This is a fully self-serve course. Everything you need is inside the product. If you want personalized help, the AI Systems Audit is a paid option after you finish.
- Do I get a certificate?
- Yes, a Ford & Mitchell Certificate of Completion, issued after you pass the 10-question final assessment at 80% or better.
- How long do I have access?
- Ongoing, for as long as the course remains available. Reviewed at least quarterly. Important updates are made when AI tools change materially.
- Refunds?
- Yes, within 14 days of purchase if the course is not what you expected.
Enroll now and use AI like it’s part of your business, not a party trick.
